I was somewhat amused to go look at the specs for the author's existing printer and lo, it has ethernet, wifi, a full print server on-board! But now there's Airprint, so you need to add a print server to the box to make it work. Well, they want you to get a shiny new printer with their stuff built in (and, hopefully with the Made For i tax attached). Sometimes it seems that Apple's strategy is to have a computing environment with the maximum number of dongles and external peripherals. ![]()
